I wish "0" stars was an option. I Don't recommend buying a used vehicle from them. I called and explained that i was an hour away and would be coming with cash and pre approval to buy a used vehicle for $20000. I asked if there was any issues and wanted to make sure that everything was good before I luged my pregnant wife an hour to see a car. I was assured it was a quality car. When I got there the sales person gave me the keys and explained he was working with another customer and would get to me when he was finished. The lack of care for us was obvious from the entire staff as they only gave attention to customers buying new cars. When I got in the car, it had low air in the tires and I asked them to put air in the tires for a test drive and they said it would be fine to drive without adding air. Reluctantly we drove the car. It had serious vibrations and definition had something going on with the drive train. As I returned from the short drive, the check engine light came on. I went to the sales manager to complain and his body language definitely showed he didn't care. He even stopped mid conversation to address someone else's complaints on another vehicle they had issues with. Basically the attitude was if you dont want the car, why are you still here. Seymour doesn't have many car lots I assume and it's a shame that anyone looking for a second vehicle, or even a good quality used vehicle has to go there and deal with them.

Buyer beware, pointed out that they put c rated tires on a 2500 truck, which is a big nono. Instead of doing the right thing, they just stopped responding to my emails on the vehicle. If someone buys that vehicle and tows with it unknowingly, they could be in for a very bad day.

Horrible experience. Was supposed to be done in a day and they’ve had it for 2 1/2 days. Was supposed to start on my vehicle on Wednesday and they didn’t start my service till the following Thursday after telling me “it’s about done we’re wrapping everything up” as they haven’t even started it. Have had to find rides for the past 2 days to work and back and going to have to find someone to pick up my vehicle as I live 30 mins away because I have to work. Every person I talked to was rude and lied to me.

I had a service on my truck done. When I left my check engine light came on. I called the next day and explained the problem. The service person I talked to asked if I had checked my oil, and told me they couldn’t check to see why the check engine light came on, and that I’d have to take it to a Toyota dealer. Usually they are pretty good, but I was not pleased with the man I spoke with.

Poor Customer Service & management. Was trying to purchase a 2022 Dodge Charger GT RWD stock #22D476, on which they upped the price of the car vs the online advertised price. They gave a low-ball trade offer on a BRAND-NEW truck with 600 miles. The salesperson I was dealing with wasn't in yesterday, so I asked to speak with the new car manager. I was placed on hold, then told they were not in. So, I asked to speak to a manager that was in but was hung up after being told to hold on! - Guess they don't want to sell their vehicles.

We have sent 2 cars for keys to be made to their service Dept. Both times they said they needed computers. ($1200) I complained to service manager who could careless. Then Bob Poynter told us to find another dealer. I was told by everyone not to use their service dept but didn’t listen. Called Malcomb lock and he fixed both within 1 hour. Definitely get a 2nd opinion before you let them change computer in your car.

I have bought several new Chrysler vehicles from Poynters and it can honestly say I will not buy any more from them. Their customer service was absolutely terrible!! They never returned my calls and never kept me updated. I felt talked down to quite often, like I was a pain in their side! The jeep I have was in the shop for 6 weeks to get a brake line repaired. The brake line busted because it was rubbing against the sway bar link since they put the lift on. When I told them they reason, I was talked down to and told that could not be the reason! Well, guess what? It was the reason! I had to call Chrysler myself to get the hose expedited. I told Chrysler the same thing that I am writing here--I will never buy from Poynters again due to terrible customer service!

I’ve been to This Bob Poynter location two times in the last three months and have been completely satisfied on both occasions! Both times my car had to stay a few days for the repairs that were needed and both times I was given a vehicle to use while mine was with them. The vehicles were very nice brand new Jeep models which really sweetened the deal. The pricing is reasonable but the customer care beats all. I’ll definitely be returning for all my Jeep needs, and I highly recommend to anyone who’s needing maintenance done or you just wanna see some super nice Jeeps to go visit Bob Poynter Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat of Seymour :)

Just picked up a new Jeep Renegade this evening, and was super impressed with Michael Maxie. I reached out last week via AutoTrader, and Michael quickly responded to my email, which prompted me to call him. After telling him what I was looking for, and what I was looking to spend, he text me a couple of options that fit my need. Over the next few days he quickly answered my questions via text, and had me all but ready to roll by the time I hit the lot (which is over an hour drive). Michael made my first new car purchase a great one, I'd definitely recommend to anyone in the market for a new car.

Broke down on our way from KY to IL. Brought to these guys and found out that one of the steel heater hoses had a leak and needed to be replaced. I thought great I have my wife, dog and two kids with so what am I going to do. These guys where awesome! They had me fixed and back on the road in about 3 hours for a resonable amonut of money. They even let me bring my Mastiff into the waiting area because it was so hot and even brought him a water bowl! They also found that the intake gasket was leaking but did not have to be repaired right away and did not B.S. me into to getting that fixed as well. Over all great customer service, great work, fair prices and Honest.
