Found a truck on their website we were interested in. Description and pictures made it sound and look like a great vehicle. No mention or photos of giant scratches in the paint or front end damage on this $41,000 truck. Drove an hour to come look at it before purchasing. Arrived and discovered huge scratches in the paint of one door, and damage to the front bumper/headlight/fender. That's as far as we got before walking away. Why would this not be mentioned/shown on the website listing? Looked like something you'd find on the back row or maybe something they'd send to auction. Not really expecting unrepaired collision damage on a $41k vehicle at a new car dealership. Glad we wasted 2 hours roundtrip.

I wish "0" stars was an option. I Don't recommend buying a used vehicle from them. I called and explained that i was an hour away and would be coming with cash and pre approval to buy a used vehicle for $20000. I asked if there was any issues and wanted to make sure that everything was good before I luged my pregnant wife an hour to see a car. I was assured it was a quality car. When I got there the sales person gave me the keys and explained he was working with another customer and would get to me when he was finished. The lack of care for us was obvious from the entire staff as they only gave attention to customers buying new cars. When I got in the car, it had low air in the tires and I asked them to put air in the tires for a test drive and they said it would be fine to drive without adding air. Reluctantly we drove the car. It had serious vibrations and definition had something going on with the drive train. As I returned from the short drive, the check engine light came on. I went to the sales manager to complain and his body language definitely showed he didn't care. He even stopped mid conversation to address someone else's complaints on another vehicle they had issues with. Basically the attitude was if you dont want the car, why are you still here. Seymour doesn't have many car lots I assume and it's a shame that anyone looking for a second vehicle, or even a good quality used vehicle has to go there and deal with them.

Never use these guys. I purchased a 2020 Sonic a few years ago and the salesman, Trent, assured me that the used car was a certified Used Car with a warranty. Come to find out when the car started having engine trouble with the water pump that I only had power train warranty, which was *not* what I was assured. When I brought this to the salesman's attention, he assured me that he would get me the warranty and I never heard back. I finally got so disgusted that I traded it into Carver Toyota in Columbus. Don't work with these people and don't trust them.

Great experience. Went in not wanting to go back and forth, gave me the best deal on my trades first time (by a long shot to) and gave me a good deal on the ones I was buying. Didn’t have to argue about a second key was going to make one before I even realized it only had one key. It was one of the best car buying experiences. Will be returning later in the future.

I have purchased multiple vehicles at Bob Poynter over the years. Always felt like a relieved a good deal. Not this time. I found a vehicle i really liked. It was Saturday and they were closing (no problem). The sales person I spoke with looked me in the face and told me my business would be earned. I asked for a better price. I was told they would put some numbers together and send to me Monday. Monday they send me the exact prices that were all ready listed and they couldn't work anything lower. I mean come on. If a dealer has a car listed for 20k. And then say we can work something for you having them show you a paper saying 24k after all fees with a 20k selling price.... I felt like I wasted my time to even go there. I have bought 4 vehicles from poynter but they don't seem to really want to sell. At least knock off 100 bucks just to keep me talking. Not smart at all.

We purchased a used Jeep Cherokee there at the start of the pandemic. With the exception of getting the title quickly, (not really there fault) the process went extremely smoothly. Called to confirm the vehicle we were interested in was still there, went in on Friday evening and was finished with the purchase around 90 mins later. Fair pricing on a new Durango, fair trade-in value on our current vehicle. Communication was quick and open, no games with payments, rates, etc. Finance guy was easy to deal with, made us aware of warranties and other things we COULd purchase, but didn’t push at all when we weren’t interested. I found out in the summer time my air conditioning doesn't work at all... Had I known this I would've gotten a different vehicle. I took it to a mechanic and he said it wasn't a simple fix and would be costly but knew I had a warranty so he suggested getting it looked at by where I bought it. I proceeded to take it here and Judy Hoene was very nice and helpful. A day later I find out that it has to be looked at by a specialist but I still owe 100$ for them looking at it.... I remind you I bought it with the AC not working then had to pay for them to say "it's not working take it somewhere else". Seems unprofessional to sell a car without knowing if the AC works and then not do anything to help that individual
